My favorite advice about having a business is:

Your business should fit YOUR LIFE and should not be running you.
The reason why you have a business is to do work YOU LOVE. In fact, what you do shouldn’t even FEEL like work.
Spend time in the beginning (or wherever you happen to be) organizing your business and putting systems into place to create the FREEDOM you want to have the lifestyle you want to live.

As a birth professional I can bet that you are passionate and creative. You may also have many different interests surrounding birth. You might have so many initials after your name from all the certifications you have attained over the years, or you might specialize in just one area.

You wish that you could make more money helping women during birth. Or maybe you feel so stretched by the demands of your family, who are still getting used to the fact that their mom is gone at strange hours at a moment’s notice. Perhaps you want to be more professional, more organized, and more business-like. Or you have SO many ideas for your business, you can’t figure out how to make them all (much less just one of them) work.

You may have a mentor to help you when you have questions about working with women. However, you wish you could talk to someone about starting, growing, and managing your business and how it’s supposed to fit in with the rest of your life. How can 1:1 business coaching help you?

We can brainstorm, set goals and action plans, create or modify your business and/or marketing plan, figure out how to get your family on board with your new career, discover what’s keeping you from meeting your goals, create time-management strategies, and much more.

How do we connect for coaching?

Coaching is done by phone. You call me at a specified day and time and we talk about the issues that you want addressed. I’ll ask you lots of questions, and through our conversation we’ll help you create some goals and a plan of action to get you closer to where you want your business to be.

Why does coaching work?

Just as you encourage, validate and support your clients through birth, I do the same for you as we work on your business.
Coaching requires action, and I hold you accountable for the actions you commit to between sessions.

What is my investment?

Choose from one of the following packages:

Good: Three (3) sessions within six (6) weeks = $300
Better: Six (6) sessions within twelve (12) weeks = $570 or $190/month for 3 months
Best: Twelve (12) sessions with six (6) months = $1080 or $180/month for 6 months

How long is each coaching session?

Each session is 45-55 minutes long.
