Are you a doula, childbirth educator, midwife, lactation consultant, or other professional who serves women during the childbearing year? Have any of the following questions crossed your mind lately?
- I want more clients but don’t know how to attract them
- I just finished training and am excited to start, but am not sure what to do first
- I want to make a living wage doing this work that I love but am not sure how to do that
- I created a website but no one’s finding me through it
- I want to make this business work but can’t seem to get organized
- I want to take my business to the next level but am not sure what to do next
- I want to be successful and have a balance in my professional and personal lives
If you want to be great at what you do, it’s imperative that you learn what it takes to be a business owner. It’s quite common for entrepreneurs to discover their passion and want to share it with the world and then feel overwhelmed when they learn there are a few more steps involved in owning a business.
Know and understand that if you want to be a childbirth professional and be regarded as professional, you need to spend time on the business itself, not just doing the work you love to do. You may also find that as structures are put in place in your business, you will be more inspired in your work with clients
This is where I can help you.
I help childbirth professionals tackle the important parts of their business that they enjoy the least, as well as help them further develop the parts of the business that they want to work on the most. I work with business owners to:
- Create long-term plans and short-term action steps to be more organized and get the energy moving in their businesses
- Identify what’s working and what’s not working for them, and then support them in making appropriate changes
- Explore what’s holding them back in their businesses and encourage them to move past those blocks so they can do more of what they love
- Create a marketing plan that feels good to them, is not overwhelming, and attracts the types of clients they want to work with
- Integrate their professional and personal goals to encourage balance and connection with themselves and those who mean the most to them.
